12 Inches!!!!

Yep, we got our first major snow of the season.
If you click on the pic it should enlarge.
Why would you do that?
Look at the snow coming out of the CHUTE. It looks like it came out like a solid ribbon and is shattering in the air!!!!!
And all the sparkles in the pic?
Light reflecting off of the snowflakes that are STILL falling! Pretty- yes? Best thing? Being inside while it's falling and swirling like inside a snow globe.
Worst thing? Having to drive in the aftermath tomorrow and HOPE that I make it back up our driveway.
It IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Wow! That looks like alot of snow. We don't get that much here. We only get maybe an inch a year. I bet your kids are ecstatic!
Enjoy the snow, but be careful!

You are so lucky. I want snow. We got a dusting. They're predicting more this weekend. I love the way the camera shot the photo.

Wow. I can't even imagine 12 inches of snow. It's been so long.

Oh, yeah, the kids had a BALL!
Sledding and shovleing a path for the bestest fastest slide area.
I had the hot cocoa with marshmallows waiting for them when they came in.
Nothing like it.

Last year, we didn't have snow until the end of January, which was unheard of for New England.

Guess Mother nature is making up for lost time, LOL!

Have a great night Brandy!

Thanks for the photo compliment, Dru! I love taking pics and I couldn't pass up taking on of the first official snow storm of the season.
Believe me, it's pretty but I'd take a dusting instead...easier to drive in and you don't have to alter your plans for dustings.
Thanks for stopping by!

LOL, Tanya. You're a writer, of COURSE you can imagine!
*grin*

Thank goodness it wasn't snow with a high water content, it was light and fluffy - easier to shovel and snow blow.

And I tell you, it sure beat the ICE we've been getting. Guess I'll take the snow after all.

Good to see you, Tanya!

That's a beautiful picture C.C.

I like snow - not ice, but snow. I wish we would get some, but we're more likely to get ice.

UGH... more coming on Sunday.

UGHUGHUGH...

Marianne, I just heard!

At one point, they're calling for 1-3 inches of snow, which is no big deal, but Al Roker used the term, Nor'Easter ... and that means worse.
Guess we really won't know until the day it hits, which is the norm I guess.

ROTFL - thanks for catching the Shoot should be Shute..I fixed it. **giggie**

Dear God, that's a lot of snow...

Who is this man pushing the snow blower? Why isn't he making snow angels?

The "sparkles" remind me of Never Never Land.

Fairies.

I've always wanted to shoot someone with a snow blower...

Holy cow, now you know why we live in Vegas. I hardly ever snows here, I wouldn't know what to do with a snowblower (do they sell those here? leaf blowers, but snowblowers? hmm)

Totally forgot what big news for romance readers?
