And as for writing .... today I checked my word count. I'm up to 8,484 words!! Is this OK to qualify as a WIP??

Congrats on the word count and I would consider it a WIP. I love the PMS Diner cartoon.
I think it counted as a WIP when you started it!! BUT, I am very proud of you for sticking with this one! (And yes, I know I keep saying that!) But, I am!
