FYI

This is a heads up. I've been noticing my monitor screen bouncing. The picture shimmers or 'burps'. Should it go "POOF", I'll have no way of letting you guys know why I'm suddenly incommunicado. I have put this in "sticky" mode to alert you, my blog buddies. Thanks to Mailyn who taught me HOW to do a sticky. :-)
Until then, Please bop on down underneath this for any currents posts. Thanks!

oh no, I hate when things don't work right. Good luck on the monitor. What is "sticky" mode? Is that the same as "safe" mode?

Thanks Brandy!! I'm hoping it will last for awhile longer. The only way I can think of to do that is to not use the computer every day .. which is what I do- so thatwould be a BIG change. Keep your fingers crossed!

Dru! I hear you. Especially since it's not that old of a monitor. I think that's what is the most irritating. As for a "Sticky" .. it's a post that stays on top all the time. Always in first position. I never could figure it out, but Mailyn let me in on the secret and I think it's great to share.

See the date up top? March 10th ... it will stay there until March 10th. If I don't change the date and I make further posts, it will descend as usual. Until then, All posts prior will appear underneath. See, Feb 24th comes before March 10th, so it goes UNDER the post.
See??? Simple really, but until it was explained and pointed out, I was clueless. It's a cool tool, don't you think?

As far as "safe mode", truly, Is there any such thing? LOL

Thanks for stopping by Dru!

You're going to make a grand disappearance when I'm just getting started here?!!! LOL.

Sorry it took me so long to respond here, Michele.

For one, I haven't been here much. Secondly, there was something wrong with the "Post a Comment" window...because every time I made an attempt to comment, it would cause my entire computer to freeze up.

Anyhow...I guess that's enough of my online war stories. LOL.

It was so good to hear from you!

Yes. It can be very difficult to keep up with me. When I get bored, irritated, apprehensive...or whatever the hell else, I tend to bounce, as they say.

After I read your post, I pulled up my guestbook and saw that you'd left me a message on Valentine's Day. How sweet of you. Thank you so much.

By that time, I'd already jumped from my website blog to my current one. So, I apologize for missing that.

Yes. The best thing for me was to focus on my writing. And as I continued to view other sites...the interaction between writers, I felt even better about my decision.

I believe there are quite a few other writers making the same decision for themselves, which is great.

I hope all is well with you, both professionally and personally.

And I hope to talk to you soon.

Until then...

Many hugs and much love to you, sweetie.

Boy, I am SO glad you explained all this, lol...
For a minute there, I was going, "wow! Michele has a monitor that foretells the future--a week ahead already!"

Hey, Calimarie! So glad you stopped by to say Hi! I miss you!

Thanks for the kind words. I don't have any INTENTION of making a grand disappearance, but the monitor may make the decision for me. *grin*
Hugs back at you!

Raine! Wow, what a writing concept that would be, eh? A fortune-telling Blog.
Now that you know how to make a "sticky", you have it on tap for whenever YOU need it.
Because you never know when you will. :-)

Thanks for coming by to say" HI!".

I Tried a Book Out of My Comfort Zone

Sometimes, reading out of my comfort zone is ... well, uncomfortable. The blurb of the book sounded rather interesting. The Fate of Mercy ...
