I just found out today that, although I was initially told that she died in bed which would really have been a comfort, she actually died in her bathroom, found on the floor. That just kills me. She must have been getting ready to join us that morning for pie making when it happened - heart attack.
You're warm thoughts and caring words mean a lot. Just commenting here means a whole bunch to me...very easily anyone could just shrug and click next ... but you didn't. You sent me "hugs".

Wow, what a beautiful poem. Hugs for the pain of losing a friend. It is too damned short. And why do we only realize at moment's like this, how silly the daily things we worry about are?
