Monday Musings, Mumbles,and Mentions

HiYa!!
I was visiting Bonnie's blog and I thought, what a nice idea! ; to share
favorite quotes. So, Here are my contributions:

About Gardening (a Favorite thing)
My good hoe as it bites the ground revenges my wrongs,
and I have less lust to bite my enemies.
In smoothing the rough hillocks, I smooth my temper.
By: Ralph Waldo Emerson

About an author's response to a good review:
We blossom under praise like flowers in sun and dew;
we open, we reach, we grow.
By: Gerhard E. Frost

About relationships between "shifters" (Could be *grin*)
Love from one being to another can only be that two
solitudes come nearer, recognize and protect and
comfort each other.
By: Han Suvin

About --nothing, I just liked it *grin*
It probably would be all right if we'd love our neighbors as we love ourselves,
but could they stand that much affection?

Hey, it's Monday. Gotta start the week sappy and upbeat. I save snappy,
bitchy quotes for Fridays. (quick, does anybody know any?????)

Lastly, this is about the wonderful ladies from the OOTB - This quote's for you!!!
Anybody can sympathize with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires
a very fine nature to sympathize with a friend's success.
By: Oscar Wilde

That's all folks!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your week is wonderful!

2. Before I have my coffee/Red Bull fix.

A "brawl" huh? *grin* I can just imagine it now, you with rubber chicken in hand, "Big Lug" with eyes bugged out while staring at said chicken, knowing he faces his Waterloo....he's gotta love your chicken

Liz, I feel the same way. Say "hi," (if that) then go away. (g) I have several neighbors just like yours. They scare the hell out of me. I'd much prefer if they kept their distance.
