Will you smile this Monday??

Mondays can be tough to get your motor running after a weekend.
A family member thought I should have a reason to start my day with
a smile. She sent me these two. There was a third and although it sent me
into peals of laughter, I felt uncomfortable sharing something That spicey. (aw, shucks, right?)
However, I do like to share,
my Favorite Thing today is : A chance to chuckle and chortle

A couple was dressed and ready to go out for the evening. They turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered their pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. They phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi.
The taxi arrived and the couple opened the front door to leave their house. The cat that they had just put out, scoots back into the house.
They don't want the cat shut in the house because "she" always tries to eat the bird.
The wife goes out to the taxi while the husband goes inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, the man in hot pursuit.
The wife doesn't want the driver to know the house will be empty. So She tells the taxi driver that her husband will be out soon. "He's just going upstairs to say good-bye to my mother."A few minutes later, the husband gets into the cab.
"Sorry I took so long," he says, as they drive away.
"Stupid bitch was hiding under the bed. Had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked. I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!"

The cabdriver hit a parked car.

The second one is:

Old Harold

I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Harold the computer guy, to come over. Harold clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?" He replied, "It was an ID ten T error." I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, "An, ID ten T error? What's that .. in case I need to fix it again?" Harold grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?" "No," I replied. "Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out."

So I wrote down .....

I D 1 0 T

I used to like Harold.

Hopefully, dear reader, you felt an urge to smile or at least did a "happy eye roll" upon reading the above. Apologies if you've seen them before. Jokes get around quicker and farther nowadays.

Questions for today: Have you seen Star Wars III??

Will you see Mr & Mrs Smith?

In the past, have you ever seen Prizzi's Honor ??

Personally, I think Mr & Mrs is a take on the same theme, just with

a lot more flash and a better looking male lead *grin*

I guess the ending will determine just how much it mirrors

Prizzi's Honor. (I didn't care for ending of PH, did You?)

Care to comment?

Hehehehehe :)

No I haven't seen Star Wars III yet. I'll probably wait and buy it on dvd.

No I don't plan to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I have seen Prizzi's honor and I didn't care for the ending.

I Tried a Book Out of My Comfort Zone

Sometimes, reading out of my comfort zone is ... well, uncomfortable. The blurb of the book sounded rather interesting. The Fate of Mercy ...
