WHEW!! It's Over

**** WOOHOO!!! My friend is alright and no one is hurt!!!! ****
Thank you, everyone, who kept her and her family in your
thoughts and prayers. You are wonderful.

Remember last post I was talking about Incongruity??? Well, here's a picture that captures it well, unlike the previous post which may have shocked some people. Sorry about that. Of course, this might raise some eyebrows as well. But what the hay.....

Oh, I didn't make this. I got this off of the net. Make your own caption for it.

Do you remember me posting this beach photo? Makes you want to go on holiday, doesn't it?

On another note, I read a book today that I really struggled through. I mean, it was OK, but it seemed to drag at parts. I didn't think it was light hearted and I'm not sure if I really believed the premise they used to cause the necessary angst in the story. But as always...I say ..make your own opinions by reading it yourself. There were a few story gimmicks or subplots that could have been followed through on...I expected them to be...but nothing happend! Very frustrating. The ending....lame...happy of course since it IS a romance, but still, lame. The name of this book? IF THE SLIPPER FITS BY ELAINE FOX-click for review options from Amazon. I've read stories by Ms.Fox in the past and they've been enjoyable.....I am not able to say the same about this one. Sorry.

But, doesn't the cover look cute?

Remember, Don't judge a book by it's cover!

Have you????

I Tried a Book Out of My Comfort Zone

Sometimes, reading out of my comfort zone is ... well, uncomfortable. The blurb of the book sounded rather interesting. The Fate of Mercy ...
