Remember I said I didn't like Beavis and Butthead?

I still don't , however, I will not stand in the way of admitting that Beavis and Butthead have contributed to many forms of Americana humor. There's another word for it, but it escapes me at this writing.
Vernacular, Maybe?
If you know it, please jog my memory.

Back to B & B. I also have stated in the past that I try not to do political comments here. There are some awesome blogs that cover that nicely.

After saying this , I must remind you that there are loop holes in just about every law on this earth; from laws of language, to laws of society and , well, laws of law.
I believe this picture below empasses both topics that I steer away from, but was too good not to embrace with a full Cheshire Cat Grin in place:

Looking at this, can you blame me?

I can't believe I am posting this, but

darn! Someone was awfully clever.

If they love B & B and politics, then

they've married the two in a way

that even I can't help but appreciate.

I'm not too sure how the two gentlemen

would REALLY feel about this, but I'd

like to think they also have a fun sense

of humor.

Since I'm a fan of Bill andTed's Excellent Adventure .... And Benny Hill ... heheheh!! I guess I'm twisted enough to enjoy this...

If you are having a bad day. Realize that you are not alone. There are class acts out there who share your pain. Some are even , and it may surprise you, quite eloquent in their displeasure of their circumstance:

See?

There are other times you must make a decision. How to handle this emotional speed bump in your life is a serious concern. Thankfully, options ARE open to you. Choices abound.

Some are WAY more important than others.

Remember, when life's challenges make you feel cornered and stuck , exercise your options!!

And when all else fails and you feel like "spitting in the wind',
don't do that...its yucky as all get out.

Just take a deep breath and "think" the word...I'm a nice girl so I don't "say" it ..... loud anyway.

THIS!!!!

Have a great day!!

I love Beavis and Butthead and I LOVE that picture of Bush and Cheney. That was emailed to me a while back...but I thought only real B&B fans would laugh at the B&C picture.

OMG! I so needed a good laugh. *wipes tear* I am especially fond of the cat. The whole juxtaposition of cat/P***y with pms... Or... well... is that just my nasty not niceness coming out?

Michele - I understand that you're not trying to make any type of political statements, but I have no problem responding with my opinion anyway. I love this! It's so perfect!

Oooh, Gotcha to laugh!
Awesome, Gangadahr!

Nope, not just devoted B & B fans will laugh. I'm proof of that! Thanks for visiting, Mel!

Hey There, Savvy Savannah!
"is that my nasty ...coming out?"
Nope. I posted this, so what does that say about ME??
We're just "nice with a snappy edge". LOL

Gregg, you crack me up!
I notice the BOLD print on certain words...remember , I'm a NICE girl ...**giggle**
I just post'em, not say'em.

My Mouth said...

Do they really serve chocolates in women's restrooms? I'm always in there and while I see lots of brown coloured things, I've never seen anything brown that was edible.

Michele said...

Um...NO.. My Mouth, not in any I've had the pleasure(?) of using.
And I DO NOT want to know what a guy is doing frequently in a woman's restroom.
Unless you're the hygiene custodian a/ka/a janitor????
Hmmmmm.....

Thanks for these, Michele...I've been having a bummer of a weekend/beginning of week and I SO NEEDED the laugh!

You are VERY welcome, Robin.
The odd thing is, I've been thinking that maybe I should be more ..I don't know, serious?
I read quite a few blogs that take stands on this or that, teach or delve into the in's and out's of writing and they seem, Adult. Poised. Learned and busy.
Along comes you and your wonderful comment.
YOU and others with similar concerns, are why I try to remain fluffy and light. Upbeat and a tad zany with a little naughty thrown in now and again.
Balance.
Smiles.
A place that gives you breathing room.
If I accomplish this ...that's pretty darn cool!
Even if I do say so myself.
Hope the rest of your week will be on the upswing towards fun and smiles and literary inspiration!
TTFN, Robin

You know, I used to hate, hate, hate Beavis and Butthead. Then, one day when my son was awake and fussy, SpousalUnit and I woke up and tuned in MTV to help soothe him. There, on the screen was the crudely-drawn princes of bad...

...and, dear god, we laughed our butts off.

I actually miss B&B now. Sure, I like Family Guy, and I still watch The Simpsons habitually, but those two really gave me the giggles when I needed it.

Oh yeah, and to put things in perspective, the infant son who were walking around the house to console is now 13 and a half.

How time flies...

The kitty one made me smile. And the stamp one too! LOL.

The FUCK IT stamp is hilarious. I howled out loud. You see, one of my favorite professors, who was also a colleague here before he retired, had a set of stamps made for when he graded essays. So many students kept making the same mistakes, that it saved him time to have things like "comma splice" or "incorrect MLA documentation" made up.

I can easily see him stamping papers with a FUCK IT stamp, especially his last year when he took early retirement.

Thanks for the belly laugh.

I Tried a Book Out of My Comfort Zone

Sometimes, reading out of my comfort zone is ... well, uncomfortable. The blurb of the book sounded rather interesting. The Fate of Mercy ...
